The culture is much more different due to the variety of people of different cities. Here people are very open-minded. Being at UC Berkeley made me have a broader perspective in life. On the other hand, I really like how it is a very diverse community. I chose Berkeley, because it is such a prestigious university and the bay area is beautiful, plus you get to have a city like San Francisco just 30 minutes away.

I love the Innovation and Entrepreneurship course! A lot of it has to do with the lecturer, Szonja [Ivester], because of her enthusiasm and honesty in class, but it’s also because I feel like I grow and learn a lot that I wouldn’t have anywhere else since the Bay Area really is where innovation takes place.

Thanks to Berkeley, I’ve been able to talk to many Business Angels and now I’m starting a company with one of them.

I love how Berkeley brings together great minds from across the globe. Clicking with sisters and brothers from around the world on our paths to knowledge and ambition is the most fascinating gift throughout this enchanting journey. Berkeley stands out for me given its academic prominence in political science, vibrant history of civil rights movements, and all the diverse cultures.

This is my second time and when I got the chance to study here again I grabbed the chance as fast as possible. I have better contact with my professors and the student environment is unlike any other. I really had no idea that this was gonna be such an inspirational year!
