Berkeley’s timeless timekeeping symbol is about sights and sounds. Take the elevator to the top for spectacular 360-degree views, and enjoy noon and 6pm concerts every day. Fun fact: It is also storage for fossil collections.

The stone ball in front of the Campanile is more than 100 years old, but more recently students began rubbing it before taking an exam for good luck.
